Are there mild hallucination or are all serious?

Like I consider, vision and sound to be mild. Mine become amplified, for example.

I don't think sound for me is mild

out of all the ones i get (vision, smell, and sound) sound is the worst- it really freaks me out

and then if smell and vision are involved in the same helusination... uggg

I think they can be mild. I can hear murmuring/whispering frequently and it's no big deal.

If they are scaring you, definitely bring this up with your provider.

When I read your first post, I didn't feel the mildness to be because of which sense it affected. And still don't think that. But this more recent post seems more relevant to your situation.

(Personal experience is that it's not a matter if which sense is involved, but the intensity of the hallucination itself. Some don't particularly concern me, but others are more disconcerting/troubling.)

Some people hear sounds and voices and it's not even considered psychosis (like me). So yea, can be mild and not even a problem at times.

Normal people (i.e., people w/o diseases or MI) get hallucinations.

There's an interesting article that talks about how 1 in 20 people have experienced delusions and hallucinations that are not a result of drugs, alcohol, dreaming, or MI:
1 in 20 People Have Hallucinated

Here's another interesting article talking about the same thing:
http://www.nytimes.com/2012/11/04/op...s-do.html?_r=0

So, unless you're in an episode, it usually doesn't mean much if you hallucinate. Hallucinations and delusions can both be mild in nature, and are rather common.

I get noises. A lot. Banging in the night. My name being called out. Knocking on the door and ringing of the bell. MY mobile going off etc etc... drives me nuts lol. Joking aside it's really scary and I hate it. Sometime I can dismiss it as me but most of the time I have to get up in the night to check everything is ok.

If they're scaring you I'd bring it up with someone. I get whispers sometimes too both in and outside of episodes, sometimes I can make.out with they're.saing and sometimes I can't, it's a toss up for me. I also get tactical hallucinations, now.those.are.scary, especially when something is trying g to take blood.out of my leg...
