Just checking to see if anyone misses me...LOL!!! I've been so busy with work and school that I have barely had time to breathe it seems. Oh, and trying to work through what I'm thinking is a mixed cycle. UGH!!! *goes back to studying*

It's going...very slowly, but it's going. I can't seem to keep my concentration long enough, it's frustrating the hell out of me. Some days are better than others, but so far it's kinda sucked. I even missed turning in the first assignment for one of my classes and I'm so mad at myself because of it.

I'm hanging on as well as I can at the moment. Thankfully my professor seems to be really understanding of my circumstances and I have the same professor for both of the classes I'm taking this semester. The trouble is that it's ALOT of reading, which takes me forever to begin with and I get so easily frustrated it's almost ridiculous. Sometimes I wonder why I torture myself with school

I think the first meeting with the second pdoc went well and I plan on sticking with him. He seems a little bit more in tune with being concerned not so much about pushing meds, but getting the symptoms under control. I'll see him again the end of next week for a follow up. In the meantime he has me tapering off of Adderrall but keeping all other meds the same until I suppose he can figure out for himself what might be going on with me.

That sounds good. I've always been surprised that you are so newly diagnosed but on a brand new med. I've read pretty good things about Vraylar but most doctors seem to try other meds first before going for one just released unless there are no other possibilities. I hope the new dr. works out for you.

I was somewhat surprised as well, especially when I read that it was more for BP1 and schizophrenia and I was supposedly diagnosed with BP2. This new pdoc is more into the holistic approach to treatment and that seems to be more up my alley, so hopefully things will work out better with him.
