It's nearly 330 and I can't sleep. Keep waking up to pee. Went downstairs to get another roll of toilet paper. I did sleep way in this morning. Probably shouldn't have. I had a feeling that the board was really slow tonight. Like I'd finished all the threads and wanted more. I even went to pages 2 and 3 but I'd read those too. And now I lay here in bed worried about money. The smoke detector keeps chirping in the hallway. Guess it wants a new battery. What will I do tomorrow- try to find my friend at his house- leave him a note on his car because he left his phone at his sister's yet again? I can't sleep. I guess I'll go watch YouTube. ...

I'm not tired right now either. I had this problem last when my wellbutrin was first kicking in. It's been a few months since then.

Are you becoming hypo/manic?

My sleep was all over the place before my hypo episode started. I'd go from 2 hrs one night to 10 the next. Then I started getting a consistent 3 hrs

I'm with you. Live and awake. Kind of sucks and, like you, I don't know if I'm hypo. I have insomnia, regardless. Only time I get any real sleep is when I crash into a depressive episode and the 'sleep' aspect usually only last the first few days. I have insomnia no matter what. Only difference between hypo and anything else, I feel exhausted over the lack of sleep verses hardly noticing a difference.

Yes when I was manic in September I was awake after 2 or 3 hours sleep. Not only awake but refreshed and ready for the day.

Right now I just can't sleep. I don't feel raring to take on the day with no sleep.

One time I took 2 Adderall capsules in a row, became full-blown manic, and didn't sleep for 4 days. Then I hallucinated and had panic attacks on the 2nd-4th days. Felt refreshed tho. (And thank god no delusions.)

I told my pdoc that I was "slightly hypo" lol

I slept for a few hours but woke up VERY SICK and freezing. I just took a Klonopin and am going to try to get some more rest.

Wish I had Klonopin. I'm not allowed benzos it seems even in times like these. Best I get is melatonin which didn't help.

No. That's a script right?

Yeah, Ambien is Rx because it's a class IV drug

You'd want Ambien CR as opposed to regular Ambien. Regular Ambien has a half life of 2-3 hours, which means it basically puts you to sleep but you may wake up after a few hours. The CR will keep you asleep.

Hmm.. I guess pdoc since s/he will know the interaction with your psych meds.

If pdoc won't give it, then regular doc it is lol

Ok. I'll ask. I thought this insomnia was over from the wellbutrin but nope. I just ate cereal too and I looked at the clock- 5 am!! My alarm is set for 7.

Ah, that sucks... Wellbutrin sounds like a pain.

I didn't even try to go to sleep, but I should have. I may get tired midday (but hopefully not...).

It works really well otherwise. I feel really good on it. I didn't realize I even needed it until I felt it's effects. Way better than Zoloft.

ugh. I didn't sleep at all. Overall, good mood. Not hypomanic or anything, just flying a little above stable.

Now, I'm not so sure. Lack of sleep for me = decline into melancholy. I should've taken some gabapentin and gotten some sleep.

I have nothing to take for sleep except melatonin and that is very mild and didn't work tonight.
