I sometimes watch the "Dateline NBC Mysteries" & "48 Hours" on CBS. Afterward watching one of these, I always experience an upsurge of fear & paranoia.

I exclusively watch comedies now because I can't handle emotional deaths. Although just because it's a comedy doesn't mean it won't switch to drama. So I don't watch a lot of new stuff.

The number 1 thing to destroy my mood and leave me devastated for the entire day is anything to do with animal abuse or neglect. Even stories where there is a happy ending for the animal at the end despite hardship in the beginning, I completely lose it. Even friends mentioning something sad on the topic will have me leaving the room.
The only thing that helps me level out my mood is to distract myself, usually with something funny on Netflix, I watch Archer, Parks and Rec, Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, or Bobs Burgers.
