So my therapist diagnosed me with an eating disorder. I didn't even know that i had one but pretty much I don't eat all day and then I have a meal at night. My daily calorie intake is about 900 calories a day which for a 6'2" guy is hardly enough. I thought because I was a guy I couldn't have an eating disorder. She kinda put it all together by asking me questions about my eating and lifestyle habits. I thought I was just being healthy. I feel so stupid and ashamed because I recognize it now and yet i still continue to keep it up. I know nothing about eating disorders.

Last week she made me take this test where i filled out stuff about my eating habits and Ill find out the results Weds and I am afraid to have another diagnosis. Does anyone here deal with both bipolar and an eating disorder?
Are they related? I have no clue.

I had anorexia as a young teen. And yes, eating disorder are associated with bipolar disorder. I believe it's because our brains don't produce neurotransmitters properly so we're deficient in them causing all sorts of strange symptoms.

Men are starting to develop eating disorders now that they have the same pressure to be in perfect shape just as women have been for years.
