Did it work right away? I've been feeling pretty ****** past couple of weeks. Very withdrawn.

I take Pristiq and Latuda. For a long while I just took Pristiq and loved it for depression. It didn't take long at all for it to start to work, but like all of the antidepressants your have to give them a good trial. I didn't have any side effects. Latuda was added in later for hallucinatins and I've taken lamictal forever. I hope all goes well with your change over.

favorite quote from the movie, "ET"
when Elliot tells his friends in the park what they have to do to save ET from the scientists, Greg asks, "Why doesn't he (ET) just beam up?" to which Elliot replies, "This is REALITY, Greg!"

I had a bad experience with pristiq. Pushed me into dysphoric hypomania which only got worse upping the dose to 100mg. It was monotherapy at the time (prior to bipolar dx) which was probably the main reason it sent me batty. We later added lithium but I was too far into the episode by then, I had an improvement then got sick from lithium, stopped taking it & kept taking pristiq & things went haywire in the worst way. I did sweat but it was no big deal. We're all different tho, good luck, don't let my experience scare you.
