that's another thing entirely- so now you know why i order so many take out meals haha

I am ok. I cook salmon with dill and butter and lemon, it's simple. I cook pork loin, brown rice and brussell sprouts. Simple stuff, nothing fancy. I buy cut up fruit. I know it's expensive but it never goes to waste.

I'm a very good cook. I learned by working as a cook in a restaurant during high school, and carried the passion through college and beyond. I can cook a huge range of things, and really enjoy tuning flavors to be the best they can be.

I can whip something yummy up on the fly. I just make up recipes and they turn out good according to my family. I'm rarely well enough to cook though. I wish I "enjoyed" cooking more than I do.

I'm a good cook but it amps up my anxiety if it gets too complicated. I made lasagna today and that was really pushing it. I just wish I didn't get so wound up so I can make something more elaborate (and probably healthier).

I'm pretty good when not depressed. I'm a crockpot master!! Easy recipe for you shattered boneless chicken breast some garlic cloves and jar of salsa. 6-8hrs on low then just shred the chicken with a fork. Bang all done. Make tacos, rice mashed potatoes over spinach as a salad over steamed veggies so many variations.

I'm a decent cook. People say my food is good. But I can't make up my own recipes. I need to follow a recipe. And since my husband died I just don't have any interest in cooking. I try to cook twice a week and the other days I just make something quick like hot dogs or a veggie burger or something. My son is living on peanut butter sandwiches right now because he doesn't like what I cook. I feel like a bad mom but he's so small and underweight I can't let him not eat.

I used to love cooking but now it's such a chore.

I always hated cooking and never did any until about 2 years ago. I lived on take out and my mother's cooking. But when she got too old/ tired, I had to learn, and I have. It's one of the good things about my breakdown, which happened around the same time. Now I do it to relax, and I enjoy it. Especially as I drink while doing so, which makes me feel less guilty. She says I'm a better cook than her. Which isn't really true, there's just more stuff on TV.

I love to cook. I use recipes sometimes and other times I don't. You can be as creative as you want to be. I love coming up new recipes and ideas.

Yeah... cooking is an activity I use to center myself. I'll prepare something especially complicated when I'm having trouble focusing because it forces me to pay attention.

I love to cook and I really am good at it. I have been married to my wife for 18 years and has only ate two things I had made that she did not like.

I used to be a good cook but now I am not allowed to eat anything that I used to cook. The stuff that I am allowed to have pretty much sucks and I don't know what to do with it. God forbid I have anything with a flavor or that tastes good.

So now I probably need to find some cookbooks that have things in them that I am actually allowed to eat. I guess the whole food situation kind of sucks for me. I don't even want to go to the store really cause everything there is off limits to me so its a huge PITA.

For a long time my daughter lived on ravioli because I was too depressed to cook. Surprisingly she still likes it.

I'm a good cook. My maternal grandmother grew up in the country and learned to cook old school from scratch meals. When she turned 18 she moved to the city and then got married and had kids. She taught her three kids how to cook. Then my mom taught me. I would also go to my grandma's and watch her cook. When I moved out of state she would mail me recipes. My grandpa's family is from the south too MS. I would visit and learn to make pies and biscuits from scratch. I stopped cooking when my youngest was 5. This is when I started having symptoms. I just could not do it. This year I've just now started getting in the kitchen. My family use to get on to me because I lived off TV dinners, hotdogs, corn dogs and hot pockets things like that. I hate I went though that phase. I sometimes have to drag myself in the kitchen but once the meal is done I get satisfication from it. My girls like it. They usually eat it all so there are no leftovers lol

I'll err on the side of caution and say i'm "okay". I can cook stuff from stir frys to rissotto, and I find it remarkably theraputic (oddly enough !)

I do enjoy it ! There's something about eating your own cooked meals that just makes it better..

I can cook so-so. I like adding my own spices and spins onto recipes. Nothing has been unfit to eat but sometimes needed a lot of milk to cool the mouth.

I can be a good cook, but it depends on my focus which can be lacking. I do not go by recipies except at times I use them as mere suggestions. Right now I am teaching my daughter to cook.

I'm a good cook I'd say. An excellent baker and I make candy sometimes. I like what I cook generally. I make a lot of pasta.

When I'm depressed I don't usually have the energy to cook. But when I do, I'm a pretty good but basic cook.

Lol but I'm terrible at baking. Once I made a chocolate cake, and it turned green! I still don't know how!
