I've heard Haldol is nice, and I want to try it at some point. It supposedly does not cause weight gain, which is nice.
I had always wanted to try Seroquel and I finally got the chance to about a week ago. It lets me get a good night's sleep. It gets a 5-star rating from me. |

I don't really WANT to try anything but I have been on a whole lot of different meds on my search for the perfect cocktail.
And haldol is nice. Seroquel I gained 50 pounds.

Haldol can be helpful for sure, but it's a very old medication...I believe it does cause weight gain for some people.

I don't want to try anything either!
Maybe adderall. I've always wanted to find out what a stimulant would do to me.

I want to try either Trileptal or Tegretol. If Latuda doesn't keep me going then I may get that.

Not a psych med but in the emergency room lots of patients want Dilaudid. I understand you get a rush from IV Dilaudid that you don't get from oral. Just once I'd like to try it just to see what all the hype is about.

It is a rush, but not something I'd want to be injecting in my own.

Injecting anything mind altering can be a rush, but it is very dangerous. Once you get comfortable with that needle it often leads you down a long hard road. Be safe, and may the force be with you.

There are times I wish I had hand at some benzos... but then I realize I am tough chick but I have addictive personality, so I shouldn't not be running for aid of highly addictive chemicals. Plus, I need to be sharp and bright at all times (so maybe I wish for drugs that would be make sharper and brighter).

For many years I gave IV morphine to my patients and knew the pharmacology of the drug but had no first hand experience of how the patients felt. A couple of years ago when I was a patient in the ER my nurse gave me 4 mg of morphine. It was very relaxing but I didn't feel "high".

I'd like to try Ayahuasca. I've heard stories of people healing lifelong traumas and physical illness after one use. Supposedly it makes you poop your pants, vomit profusely and have vivid hallucinations for a few hours. But if it could possibly cure me forever, I'll wear some depends, carry a barf bag and hope for the best on the hallucinations.
I also suffer with poor concentration and chronic fatigue....I'd like to try adderal and see if it could help me live a higher quality of life....but I've read bad things about adderal mixed with bipolar so doubt my doctor would give it to me at this stage. |

I would like to try Wellbutrin to regain my beauty (it can lead to significant weight loss), but I am afraid of mania. In bipolar disorder patients, Wellbutrin may cause a rapid swing to the manic phase. So I will continue with the exercise. I went from 238 to 228 lbs using exercise and now hope that if I persevere, I will be reasonably in shape.
But a magic pill sure sounds alluring. |
