Hi everyone!

I am very new to treatment for bipolar, I was diagnosed a long time ago and went into denial for 8 years and refused any meds except the occasional antidepressant(which always make my hypomanic). I started my treatment this summer and I'm waiting to get into a CBT program in January. I was rapid cycling when I started meds, now I'm still having ups and downs but not nearly as bad.. I just got my abilify increased to stop a hypomanic episode and I'm now experiencing hypomania hangover as I've seen it called..

I'm happy to be here!!

Hypomanic hangover...that is possibly the best way I've ever heard it described and just went through it myself.

Welcome!
