I'm trying to get the funds to make it to my pdoc appointment and back. I really need to go because I'm in a bad place.

Just wondering if anyone could estimate how much the cost would be?

It totally depends on where you are. For example, here in Boston is cheaper than when I visited Dallas, but roughly the same price as NYC.

Every city or town which has taxis will have a website telling you the cost of a taxi. This is because taxi costs are regulated and they have to tell you.

You'll see the rate per gallon, the flat rate for pick up, and the max value that you can be charged

You have a computer? Look up your local service in bigger cities there should be a cost calculator. If not call the taxi companies and tell them you want to get from A to B and ask how much it would cost. You should also be able to make an advance pick up time so you are sure to be picked up on time.

I don't have a computer. I'm doing everything from my mom's kindle. I'll try to look it up from here. If not I'll have my mom call the company and ask. I'm too scared to talk on the phone.
