My mom and step dad are throwing a party and there's tons of people. It's making me anxious even though I'm in my room. Everyone is drunk.... I need someone to watch me..not to sound like a 2 year old but I need someone to make sure I don't do anything stupid. My sister who is also bipolar is stable and fine so she's out of with her friends. I can't even drink because of the meds. Not sure what to do here.

If this is your status you need to be in the hospital. No excuses, you need to be there, you are not safe. Not the 7th, not the 9th, now. The only person who can keep you safe and healthy is you.

Thanks for your concern <3 I still have no ride until then. Both mom and step dad work a lot. My sister will be home soon and I'll ask her to stay with me until then. I'll be okay.

I left my room to get a drink. Didn't want to stay longer to get something to eat even though I'm hungry lol. There are too many people. I texted my sister and she said she'd come home soon.

Me too. She knows what it's like so she's good at comforting me. She said she'll be home in like an hour or 2.

Two years ago I had ankle reconstruction surgery and was stuck semi-reclined in bed for 6 weeks and it was many months before I was walking around well. I had to keep from winding up in a bad episode because my life was difficult and so I found various things to help keep my mind off it. Most of them are long gone but during that time I got really into figure skating and am now able to understand what is going on, how the scoring works, who to expect to win, etc. It really helps with bipolar stuff as well as it did with stuck in bed stuff. When I was IP last February I used some of my few moments out of my room to check scores for the Nationals; that's how much I enjoy it.

Can you find something like that online that can help distract you when things are too tough?

Sorry about the ankle! That's nice you found something useful I'm happy for you. My sister is my main distraction. She helps a lot. I sometimes watch random videos on youtube... but that's it. I don't know what else to do.

She is 17 but isn't allowed to have her license like me. We aren't allowed until we've been stable for a long time.

My sister is now home. Thank goodness. She gave me one of her lithiums because I'm out. I do feel better but am still seeing and hearing things unfortunately. Hopefully the lithium works.

My sister and I are walking to the pharmacy for my meds. It's kind of a long walk and it's really dark outside. My meds are cheap so my sister can afford it. I feel bad having my 17 year old sister taking care of me again....I'm not used to being out at night so I'm a bit nervous. I wish we could drive.
