I find that wherever I am in life, it can feel like a circle. Sometimes, the challenge is just that I can't think of anything motivating - like something that I would want to do if I had the motivation. It can take months to embark on any kind of change, but before that I have to figure out what to change, and then how to change it. I get paralyzed at the first step, so I just end up on the merry-go-round, like a holding pattern until I figure out where to get off.
Sorry you're feeling this way right now, boogie. It's not fun. ![]() |

I wish that my present life could feel like something as basic and predictable as a circle; right now it feels like a cruel multi-dimensional hybrid of Chutes and Ladders and Battleship, and someone just sank my aircraft carrier.

If you think about it, life isn't linear. But I get what you're saying. Not making progress. Sometimes you need to sit down and think about it. Have you made a list of goals? Working toward goals tends to get you out of a circle, because you can chart progress.

I understand this, I spent the ladt year and a half in circles and am just slowly making my way out. It's truly one step at a time, one thing at a time and truthfully it's all I can handle at this time. It's hard
