The Pacific NW. Sunshine is over-rated IMO, so it's exactly where I want to be.

Which is good, because (as recent thread attests) I've moved lifetimes-worth of moves already and am getting too old for that ****.

I've moved way too much due to both mania and jobs. That being said, I'd love to make one final move back to SoCal where I left my heart.

I am in the NW USA but I want to live somewhere sunnier and warmer with beautiful water and sand, and also a pool. and I am considering moving but not sure where because the hurricanes in the south and east are concerning, and the earthquakes and crime in Cali are concerning. not a clue where would be best. Hawaii sounds fun. Sometimes I think I'll just stay here but I feel dead here so much of the time, so alone. Would that move make me happy??? who knows

If I could, first I would travel around the Eastern US (hike the Appalachian Trail, see the Keys, etc.). After that, I would want to move back West. Southern California has the best weather but is a bit to crowded for me. So a desert town such as Sedona, Arizona, would be a possibility. In the summer, I would travel to cooler places (I can stay with my sister in Oregon anytime I want and I like trips to the mountains). During the coldest part of the winter, I would drive to Mexico. My father has a second home in Mexico.

I need more sun. That is the bottom line. I have to have more sun. And I have to be in the West.

Where I don't know. Sun and water are an expensive combination when it comes to home buying.
