Apology

I feel like I'm apologizing a lot lately but they are warranted so what can ya do?

I've made some pretty upsetting posts today and I hope I did not alienate any one of you. I respect you all and just want to offer support and love to everyone regardless of how they are feeling on this day. I don't WANT anyone to feel left out, targeted, ostracized or ashamed. I want us all to go to bed proud of ourself tonight and feeling good about who we are. I know my hugs are probably obnoxious to some but I can't help it ((((hugs to whoever needs them right now)))

I'm just so depressed trump won. I ate four oreos before. I'm emotional eating!

Oreos sound good right now. I had a few Hershey's Bars a few minutes ago and they helped calm me. Chocolate is a natural rememdy for many occasions

Your hugs are not obnoxious at all. I appreciate all the hugs that have been given to me by you and others and the support of this forum. I've been in need of hugs and support in all honesty, so I'm very grateful for them.

ElsaMars, I spent yesterday afternoon worrying that my posts about the election might have upset you. I am sorry so many are having a hard time. Your posts are consistently sweet and supportive. I find everything you say interesting and sweet (though I worry about your anxiety). I am glad you are so expressive and take your opinions seriously!
I sometimes post impulsively so I apologize for the times when the posts end up being insensitive.

And for what it's worth, a lot of people on PC are venting as well, not just in the BP forum, but in other forums as well. There are threads scattered all over.

I've read some pro Trump posts, and I think those are fine too. Everyone deserves the right to vent.

Elsa; whilst I don't know what posts you're referring to because I didn't see them; I just wanted to let you know this is a pretty supportive community. I know in the past I've made some pretty distasteful posts and probably been put on ignore by many; but they seem to forgive and forget and move on

Someone kindly PM'd me to let me know my posts could be taken as offensive and I saw the point being made. I just want everyone to know that I support them as individuals and hope we can all stay the united group I feel we are. We are all battling some strange emotions over all this. I want to be heard but I also don't want to offend. I'm in a strange place.

DocJohn wrote me and politely pointed out the flaws in my writings today. I reacted on emotion and not with my more rational/logical mind. I will do my best to do better.

Thanks....everyone who pointed out they did was rather nice about it. And I agreed with them. If one person complained I might think it an isolated incident. 2 people means a pattern is evolving, by the 3 red person I got the picture loud and clear and needed to make the apology. (((Hugs)))

I appreciate the fact that you are very conscientious and do truly care about how you come across. I appreciate your "sensitivity" to other people. However, I also want you to know I have never found your posts offensive.

I have seen some very, very offensive posts on PC. They were never authored by you.
