(((Hugs))). I've been hearing a lot about Xyprexa lately and it seems to knock people flat out. Did it bring you down fast?

So far I haven't had any more hallucinations. I have to stay on this dose through this Sunday as my PDocs office shut down today.

I feel you. My pdoc has been playing around with my seroquel dose and I slept 13 hours last night. I woke up totally out of it and angry. I feel like ****. Sometimes I want to throw these meds out the window and just hold on for the ride

I hear you rxqueen. I was allergic to seroquel but my memory of the few days I was on it is that it was horribly sedating

I take Abiify in large part because its relatively non-sedating, as (full dose) tranquilizers go. I remember having horrible nightmares on seroquel and waking up with sore muscles. I also remember having akathisia through a zyprexa fog. not fun.

some people can reduce doses of some medicines once they get stable. Other times, the prescriber keeps people on the same meds, same doses, indefinitely.

Maybe you could consider a dosage reduction once you've been stable for a while? Sorry you're having these problems.

Zyprexa (olanzapine) brought me down from mania and let me sleep last night. Felt really flat when I woke, and hungover but 2 hours later I Feel mania returning and I say, bring it on.

I just got this increase but we'll see what happens. At the moment I'm preferring this to the worrying I'd be doing.
