I was starting to experience depression before the election.
I cannot attribute the severity to the election results.

Although I have some concerns about the election and what's ahead, I feel we can handle whatever is ahead, together.

I am not always sure I can handle more depression or other mood swings, PTSD, etc.

Taking it a moment at a time.

Hugs all around!

It's sad for those of us in the U.S. that this election has brought so many of us to this point of being scared, afraid and depressed. Clinton certainly wasn't my first choice, but Trump is definitely my last choice.

The only candidate with realistic goals, including serious treatment for MI, was John Kasich.
Well loved and respected in his state. Accomplished everything he proposed.
Couldn't start early and was underfunded. Sometimes I think the real people that can help other people get sidelined.
Besides, "the TV star" got all the attention. People like the circus. That's what kept Rome going, until one day didn't go anymore.
We need to pass this term like if it was a laxative. Everything happens for a reason.
The next generation will be better fit to make sound decisions. Luv.

Surprisingly I'm not depressed, though I have reasons to be. The furor over this election frightens my daughter and her friends. However, it seems to be more of an impetus to get off my butt and do something. So I'm trying to learn stuff before I start college in the summer.

I'm depressed and anxious. The election is not responsible entirely but it did add to my anxiety. It was very stressful. Now I'm ready to settle in and hope for the best. But I'm afraid the depression won't subside until spring as it is always worse during the winter.

Perhaps a little now. My pain and stomach are tearing me apart and making me feel very down. My energy has been robbed and replaced with some matrix level slow motion. Maybe it will help me dodge the bullets and have more time for thoughtful reactions.

ElsaMars, why is your stomach tearing you apart? Is that your pain?

Just hearing that makes me really feel for you. I'm so sorry you have to deal with that. Pain is really depressing and debilitating.

I hope it eases for you very soon!

I can't say enough about this supplement. For whatever reason, it keeps my depression at bay and I feel so much better when I take it.

I was very depressed/mixed last night with SI. Came on fast after being euphorically manic for 6 days. Was given 10mg of Olanzapine but 4 hours later I was distraught and unable to sleep (It was midnight) so the nurse gave me 20mg more of Olanzapine (Zyprexa). I slept well until about 7 am - six hours sleep. Felt hungover from meds but now, 10am, I am back to euphoric. Not sure what that was all about. Just hope it doesn't return.
