Wow

So I got my step dad to go to the pharmacy for me (he never does anything for me <3) and after 2 days all they had was my Valium. They never said anything about my other meds being late? So I'm out of lithium, Zoloft, and seroquel. YEAH! They still don't have my seroquel. They said it would be ready by Tuesday. So that's 6 days without my seroquel. Idk what to do anymore.

Is there another pharmacy you can use?

That is ridiculous. I know you said you can't go to another pharmacy. Can you pdoc phone order something similar to Seroquel to calm you down while you wait for that and the Lithium.

How are you today?

Awhile back our insurance forced us to switch pharmacies. So now we can only use one. If we use a different one something that would say cost $10 normally would be like $200 at a different pharmacy.

That sucks. Just try to hang on until Thursday and go to the hospital if needed.

What sucks is that he's not in his office weekends or on Mondays even. I just remember being told I can't make appts on Mondays, so that's why I usually go in on Thursdays. I have one more lithium but I take them 4 times a day, so not sure when to take it lol.

I'm doing okay. Dealing with psychosis and not being able to sleep. Bleh

Not sure how I'll do without 3 of my meds. Hopefully I can make it. Everything just sucks.

What a cluster fart of bad luck you are having....I'm so sorry. How are you feeling? Any withdrawal symptoms?

It does really suck! And thank you <3 yeah I'm having some withdrawal symptoms: anxiety has increased by a lot, I've been agitated which I rarely am, even more depressed than I normally am, and getting no sleep. Some might just be me and not withdrawal but who knows.

You have some half life of the meds build up in your body it should /could /might ??coast you for a couple days hopefully.

I just don't get why your pdocs office is such a disaster, I personally would HAVE to find a new one no matter what.

My doctor's office used to be great! T and pdoc in the same office, he always made sure I had meds, appts were scheduled to fit perfectly with my mom's schedule. I'm not sure what happened. Maybe they're just having a rough time. Hopefully it gets better.

I'd totally switch if I could though.

---response. After you get the medication, write a letter describing this situation to your insurance company, perhaps copying the head of the pharmacy. I responded negatively to a dental ins co poll once and the managing dentist retired. there is no excuse for this. You could report this,to the ins co right now by phone. They can't have this type of thing happening 1. To preserve their reputation and income. 2. To,avoid lawsuits- if something happened to you because of this they would be liable. this is way out of bounds.
