My friend got mad at me via text. He said I'd told him that 50 times this winter and some in the summer and he was leaving to sit in his spa.

OK what did I say? "I'm cold". I get cold when I drink a protein shake, especially at night. He thinks it's just because the milk is cold but regular milk doesn't do this and neither does water. So this is what I was trying to say to him but he just got miffed that I said I was cold "again". I literally tremble for 15 minutes after I drink one.

What is my friend's problem anyway? Maybe he just has no answer and that bugs him?

Seems like something might be going on with him.

The shaking burns more calories, LOL.

Yeah! To both. I burned a few tonight watching TV. Now, though, I'm not cold. I'm in bed with my weighted blanket over me and my heated mattress pad under me. Aaaahhh!

I am getting confused. I just read someplace that it is good to drink a protein shake before bedtime, but I forgot why.

I think it's still a good idea. I'm trying to figure out what makes me so cold. Maybe I should hop right into a preheated bed from now on.

It's possible he meant that in a humorous way but it didn't come across via text. :-)

Milk is a cooling beverage-it lowers body temperature unlike coffee which heats it up

No judgement, but you've told us this multiple times as well.

Maybe my thyroid needs looked at (again) then. I didn't realize I was that cold.

When friends get angry, it often has a lot to do with whatever is going on within themselves. Maybe he's having a bad day? It may be your friend is frustrated he cannot find a solution for you?
