I totally missed my therapist appointment today at 11am. I just happened to forget about it. Honest mistake. (I should have put it in my calendar.)

First time I've missed a therapist appointment.

What about you?

I miss appointments due to sickness often. Not much I can do about it either.

I had to cancel appointments because our car was acting up. I also missed my first psych appointment because I was in my husband's psych eval and didn't know I had my appointment at the same time. So I look like a huge flake to my new T and pnurse.

I miss/cancel all the time. Truth is, I'm just not feeling it with my new T. She's too opinionated and seems to just be there for the gossip. Missed my last appointment for a BP episode too. I always keep pdocs appointments though because I need my meds refilled.

I've missed one pdoc appointment because I was too sick to go. They treated me like crap after that, so I have not seen a pdoc since.

I try to make it cause if I flake I have to pay for it, if I go my insurance pays for it. If I know ahead of time, 24 hrs and I cancel then it's ok. That's why I never make appointments for Monday...how do I know by Friday that something might happen? I also make appointments for afternoon so I get reminders the same day, ifs it in the am I might not get the reminder soon enough.

I've only missed one therapy appointment, but I'm in DBT and I can only miss 4 appointments or 4 groups before I get kicked out. And once I was 30mins late to a psych appointment that I didn't know I had, showed up on time go meet with my case manager to find out I had a psych appointment, oops.

Twice I've shown up at therapists' offices thinking I had an appt. only to discover I had the wrong day.
I cancel and reschedule all the time.

I miss my therapist's appointments when I'm sick. I drag my butt to my pdoc appointments because she's usually booked solid.

My therapist has every other appointment as a phone appointment which is really helpful with my chronic illness and pain. I can't always get dressed and drive 30 minutes but I can usually pick up the phone so this arrangement should work out well for the both of us.

Yea same rules at my T and that's the only reason I dropped out of DBT. Couldn't make the commitment and commute twice a week.

I have missed a few appointments. Some of those appointments were intentional because I just got so fed up with the pdoc and t I was seeing. Now that I have a new pdoc and t I am trying hard to stick with my appointments. Unfortunately I missed an appointment with my t last week because I thought the appointment was on Friday and not on Thursday. Thankfully she was understanding and I was able to reschedule it for this past Tuesday. My mind has been completely out of sorts and unless I write things down I tend to forget them (I never used to be that way )

Nope, only when I've been IP. Otherwise it's every Thursday at 11.

My t is every Tuesday at 4 so I don't forget. I have to go to pdoc every four weeks for my injection so I can't miss. It is a royal pain to reschedule because she never has anything until three weeks later so then I have to call her directly and she fits me into her schedule for the injection. So I do all I can to make sure I don't miss an appt with her. My office calls me with a reminder a couple of days prior so even if I forget the time i get reminded.

In 6.5 years I have never missed an appointment unless I am IP and have no access to leave.
