So I got my wisdom teeth removed earlier this morning. I didn't take any of my meds yesterday or today because I was so paranoid something would react and go wrong. I was put out completely, thank goodness. I don't remember anything. I was so scared. I'm still kind of groggy and probably won't have even remember posting this. My mouth hurts.

I'm worried about not taking my meds. I have been having some hallucinations so far but I'm too out of it to notice anything else. I'm afraid that my symptoms will be worse than before.

I hope you feel better. I'd take your meds and the pain meds on time to keep everything going as planned. Hallucinations and a swollen mouth doesn't sound fun. Besides I had hallucinations when I had my wisdom teeth out. No aps back then so you don't want to make matters worse.

Thank you

So I should resume taking my meds? Hallucinations are never any fun lol. Are you saying I should or shouldn't take my AP tonight? It's the only thing that lets me sleep.

If I were you I'd take all your prescription meds. Tooth and otherwise. The dr should've know what you're taking right?

You went through so much effort to get the meds, shouldn't you at least try to take them? I haven't taken mine in 2 days but will tonight. My stomach needed a break....I almost landed in the ER from an infant sized stool. I will spare you further details because it's an event I wish I could forget let alone make you poor people remember.

Take the meds that you finally got after so much trouble and confusion.

You do realize this stop and start of your meds can cause the voices and hallucinations, right?

Just so you know, if you need to skip meds before a medical procedure they will tell you that specifically. It's not a very common problem. I am on a med (Emsam) that does interact seriously with a lot of other meds and even then I can have surgery with the med in my system, they just follow specific guidelines to keep me safe. But meds like Emsam are very rarely used and very few other meds are a problem. You need to be honest if asked what you are taking but from there on out they'll tell you if there is a problem. Usually they'll work around it in the rare event a problem exists.

You don't want to miss a lot of doses of meds because some of them (I know lithium is one) can stop working if not taken consistently.

Thanks everyone. I didn't take my meds before because I was just really super paranoid. I was also paranoid that something was going to happen to me while I was out. Like being kidnapped or something. Overthinking I know. Yeah he knew what meds I was on, I was just still paranoid lol.

I'll take all normal and teeth meds tonight.
