I'm trying NOT to! I spent money on lunch for me and my son but that's it. A weekly group lunch.

I have no desire to go out in that disastrous mess ! Plus my wallet is screaming... Oh hell no !
When I get a case of the OMG ! I have to shop , I take 20.00 to the everything is a dollar store. I have found some really great stuff there.

I got irritated at the store today. They said you got 40 percent off if you got there before 12 noon. Well I looked at my watch while they were telling me that and it was 1pm. So I ended up paying full price. Then in another store all they had was sample size 9. How stupid is that. Rows and rows of size 9 and that's it. And it wasn't cheap either. I think maybe Black Friday used to be for deals but now it's just a come on to get you in the store to spend money. But all the sales are over calculated to make the store money not save you money.

I don't have any money to spend. Plus I hate crowds. The deals aren't really deals in a lot of instances anyways.

I only shop online for things I was planning on getting anyway. Hell even my big electronics purchase was a week ago. My tv was on sale for two days last week but not today.

I went out. I had to get a game for my son because my mom got him a 3ds without getting him a game. I borrowed money for it and spent an extra $60 that I wasn't planning on. Money is going to be REALLY, REALLY tight next month.

Hope you're all spending wisely. I found some clothes online I really wanted yesterday. I put them in my virtual shopping bag. It was difficult but I managed to avoid actually purchasing anything. Today some of the clothes are even cheaper and I'm so tempted.

I didn't black Friday shop at all this year, I usually do though. I'm trying really hard to be good with my money, it's not easy

I didn't have the money to shop on Black Friday. I could have maybe spent maybe $100 but it's a good thing I didn't because I woke up to find that labcorp charged me $82 for lab work I had done a couple of months ago. They said they would notify me before charging me but they didn't. So I have enough for groceries and gas this week now but not much else.
I do still have $150 in my target credit card but all the toys I want for my son are sold out so I'm going to hang on to that for a week or two and hope the toys come back in stock.

I bought an Apple Watch. Can't really chalk it up as an impulse purchase though, I've wanted one for 1.5 years and have been saving for over six months. Target had an unbeatably low Black Friday price, so I pulled the trigger.
I'm still getting used to it. I have no idea if I'm going to keep it and displace my Breitling....that waits to be seen. I'll give it a week or two. Anyone else here wear one? I'd be up for hearing experiences and/or apps you find useful.

I worked retail for years. The holidays were nightmares. I have no desire to go to the store and this Christmas everyone gets 2 presents. One must be under $15.00 and wrapped in blue paper. I need to purchase very smart but selectively and prefer to come up with my own ideas from the heart rather than be lured by the item because it's such a good deal. When I worked retail I did get amazing deals and bought so much stuff for the holidays. I worked at a higher end department store and between and and Toys R Us, I could do al my shopping for everyone. But I had to get out of retail years ago due to social phobia.

I'm broke and power bill and food wins out over presents!
Even if I had money to spend I damn straight would not go out in that mess yesterday or this weekend. I don't have bail money lol
