So my stepdad is retiring and I have to get off my parents' insurance in the spring. I started a new job and it has insurance, but crappy insurance. I will have to pay large co-pays on medications, which is why I'm going back on Invega. It's cheaper. And lamictal and klonipin are not too bad. Invega really helps with my depression for some reason, but horrible sexual dysfunction. Risperdal also helped with my depression so those two would be good options to talk to my pdoc about. The Geodon isn't helping and the Latuda made me too panicky about 12 hours after taking it. Geodon blunts my emotions and I can't tap in as much to my spiritual side. Invega or risperdal do not blunt me and they calm me down tremendously. I also don't get weight gain from either medication. Right now I have cushy insurance with 0 dollar co-pays on medications, doctor's appointments, you name it. That will all change soon, so I need to be prepared. And I know that for one year on Latuda, you have a $25 co-pay, but what about the next year? I just need to get back on my invega for many reasons. I also wish I could take Prozac again, but my pdoc doesn't want me to because I have a history of antidepressant-induced mania. Well there's my rant. Hopefully everything works out for me. I'm hoping for the best.

How is invega cheaper? That **** is like $1800 a month with no insurance. My insurance doesn't cover it at all. I'm in the process of fighting them to cover it. But if it's cheaper for you, that's great.

I hope you can work something out!

Invega is 190 a month at Walmart. I looked it up on GoodRx.
