I wanted to know if any who have fallen pregnant had a relapse of their bipolar episodes during pregnancy either having continued or stopped medications during their pregnancy? I have a thread on my recent situation under "I'm pregnant", but following (trigger warning!) a termination I had yesterday I'm feeling really low & sleeping heaps. I realise this is probably a normal reaction to a difficult decision but could it also be the beginnings of a hormonally driven mood change (it's only been 36 hours though)? Prior to the termination I had plenty of energy & was in high spirits, perhaps even blocking out the reality of what I was about to do. I ask this as I do want to conceive again in a couple years & go off all meds prior, I've read the relapse rate is high.

It is quite normal to be down after your procedure.I have heard that pregnancy can give you good hormones so you feel better more stable. maybe this is like post partum blues?
I have never been a mother so I really don't know.
