Some time ago I finally found the right combination of meds for me. I know it's different for everyone, but I'm curious if there's anyone else who takes the same combination of meds as me and how you're doing and what your diagnosis is.

I take: Seroquel (50mg)
Lamictal (400mg)
Abilify (15 mg)
Klonopin (1mg)

My diagnosis is Bipolar I.

Anyone else take the same combination, even if it's not the same mg? Have you had any side effects (I've had a ton of sleepiness from the Seroquel).

Thanks.

Yeah, I take Lamictal (400), Abilify (20), Klonopin (1), and Seroquel (300), but Seroquel is PRN for when I get hypo/manic and Klonopin is PRN for anxiety. I also have Ativan for panic attacks, but I haven't touched it in ages.

I'll be honest and say I hate Seroquel, but I guess it's a good "emergency" sleep aid for me.

Abilify used to make me dizzy and mess up my eyes, but the side effects faded away after about a month. It was hard toughing that out.

Klonopin doesn't do much for me, but my anxiety isn't as bad as it used to be, so that's probably why.

I have BP I.

Lamictal: 400mg
Abilify: 5mg (higher dosage when needed)
Klonopin 1mg 3x daily PRN
Temazepam: 30mg
Lexapro: 20mg

I was on Seroquel 300mg & it made me gain a lot of weight. When on 30mg Abilify, it made my hands shake. I've always maintained that meds work differently for different people; it's not "one-size-fits-all."

I've been on same combo before too, except the klonapin.
Is it working for you?
I'd be happy being more productive. Having energy and motivation but not mania.
Right now I'm looking for something that will help. I sleep ok. Off seraquel on temazepam.
Seraquel at night is ok. But I had weight gain. ( more than Temazepam)
So side effects of your meds are a constant consideration too.
