I have a form of bipolar, meaning I am on the bipolar spectrum. I rarely get mania, instead, I get bad agitation and racing thoughts. It also affects my sleep. Most of the time is spent in depression. I am on Lithium, Lamictal and Celexa and seroquel for sleep. Most antidepressants I can't tolerate. I am also bothered a lot by anxiety. I do see a tdoc which helps, but I depend a lot on self-help methods. Anyone else in the same situation?

I suppose many of the members here have Bipolar II. I am recently in diagnosing process but it is very probable that I have it too, even though right now I am high as a kite, depression has always been more present in my mood. I had strong anxiety for years which disappeared when I moved abroad and started to slightly shift to hypomania, I guess.

I have bipolar 2 as well and spend most of my time on the depressed side. I also get agitation and racing thoughts. I am bad with money and impulse spending and gambling. I spent the last year and a half in therapy and it's helped a lot. I'm on Trileptal, latuda, Lamictal and Busbar. Hugs to you

I'm bipolar II s well and spend most of the time depressed. The Saphris keeps a lid on the manic symptoms. But battling the depression is a challenge.

I'm bipolar type 2 and spend a lot of my time in a mixed state or depressed. I've never really had a class manic episode. Severe depression was my first diagnosed with until they figured out the bipolar. I take celexa for depression but I don't think it's helping. I recently started 300mg of welllbutrin. I have my fingers crossed hoping it helps.

I was diagnosed in May with BP2 and spend a good majority of my episodes on the depressed side. From books I've read and research I've done, it is more common it seems for those with BP2 to be more on the depression side instead of the hypomanic/manic side.

Hi... I'm new here and also have BP2. I spend more time depressed than anything else but the racing thoughts and agitation are also a problem. I'm in the middle of a med change but right now I'm on Abilify (making the depression worse) and Luvox.
