Depressed senior year, I missed a ton of school and slept through the second semester. I took pills to knock me out for the day. I really hate depression.

This was me exactly man! I hated my teachers for no reason. Plus, I slept all of my classes because of depression and they'd yell at me and I yelled back.

Not too much until junior year of high school, when I first went manic. I mainly just did whatever I wanted to, devised odd ways to break rules, and fought with a lot of teachers (one time very publicly, standing in front of class arguing with the teacher, for the entire class period). Also had a big breakdown during a soccer game. Threw around all the gear on the sidelines after I was benched for swearing at the coach, went into the stands and cheered for the other team? That one was really embarrassing.

I remember being unhappy in 3rd grade.
My folks saved money and in 4th they sent me to private school. That was much better.
We had split grade classes. In 5 th it was 5/6. I did my own work then listened and did the 6 th grade work. After the IQ test principal asked me about the test. Turned out I found out later I had a high IQ.

I was eventually taken out of school.

too many hospital visits. I'd been in for ages, come out, then the school wouldn't take me back because I'd missed out on so much work

but then eventually they would, it would work for a few weeks, then happen again

eventually the school just decided to give up.

they couldn't handle my mental health in school well anyway
