Screen star Debbie Reynolds died tonight...one day after her daughter died. It's ironic:

In 2004, my grandma died of lung cancer. Twelve hours after, before she had gotten the news of her daughter's passing, my great grandma passed away in her sleep. Just three weeks before that my grandma on my mom's side died. So did my husky, three days after my grandma.
Sometimes, death just happens like that. There's really no reason behind it, just happens. I'm glad, actually, that Reynolds didn't have to live in a world where her daughter was dead. That's the best mercy coincidence could offer.
