LOVE Fireworks, but in general I do not like loud noises. But Fireworks are an exception if I know they are coming.

Do you like them?

Yes I love them but since I can't go to the exhibition grounds due to fear of crowds and I can't see them from my house I am stuck with the sounds and my imagination.

I dig fireworks as long as I'm not manic. Really loud noises don't jive with me when my head gets in that place.

When I was young, it was legal to set them off at home on 4th of July. When I was young, I enjoyed viewing the big ones set off by the city. I can pretty much take them or leave them at this point. My kids could care less so we don't drive out to the waterfront and view them anymore and I'm glad not to have to battle the crowds. If I never saw another firework display I think I would be just fine. If I do see them, they keep my interest a bit but they don't have the same magic they had when I was younger or when my kids were young and fascinated by them. There are many things I enjoy more and feel I'm pretty indifferent to them at this point. For the past few years we step outside our house and can see the big ones from our front yard......almost feels like an obligation to watch more than a desire.

No.

I live near a theme park which overlooks a lake, and they shoot off fireworks every Saturday and Sunday night. (Tradition.) Then the asshole across the street likes to shoot them off a couple times a month.

BTW, the asshole shoots fireworks directly over our house. So we hear the loud "BOOM!" which sounds like thunder. Then we hear "rain", which is all the pieces of the fireworks landing on our roof.

Love fireworks, love the colours and the styles of them too. Hopefully see some in 10 hours time when Hogmanay ends and we celebrate New Year's Day :-)

Yes, I do. But only if you can see them. And not 2 steps from you.

As long as I know they're happening I like them. The sounds scare me if I'm not prepared though. I also don't like the crowds.

No, not at all. I don't like loud noises in general.
