Could use some good thoughts. It's been a month basically since I got out of the hospital. When I first got discharged everything seem as if it was starting to look up and I was feeling better. Now it feels like I'm starting to step back into my deep depression and I can't seem to stop it. I'm afraid to call my t because I'm pretty sure she'll try to send me back to the hospital. Today was a rough day at work as my anxiety was through the roof. All I could do was keep myself busy to try and keep my mind off of all the bad stuff. I just wish this roller coaster would stop, I wanna get off. I don't see my pdoc for at least another 2 1/2 weeks

Can't you speak to your pdoc's nurse and she can talk with Pdoc and get back to you? Or if you want is there an after hours number you can call?

He's usually pretty good about getting back to me. The problem is I think he might be on vacation still. I may try to give him a call tomorrow.

I'm sure there's another doctor in the office who can help you. I'd call anyway.

Just left a message with my therapist. If she doesn't call me back soon I'll call my pdoc.

That's brave of you to contact your doctors. I hope they have some solutions for you.

I'll be damned if I'm gonna end up back in the hospital this soon after being released. Thankfully both my pdoc and t called me back. I have an emergency appointment scheduled with my pdoc now on Monday afternoon and I am still scheduled to see my t on Thursday next week. Worst case scenario I will go to the ER, even though I really don't want to.

For what it's worth, if you go to the ER and tell them you're suicidal with a plan - you're going IP whether you agree or not. I'm not saying you shouldn't, just that's what'll happen. Hope things get better for you.

Oh I know how the system works, trust me.

I hate the fact that my pdoc and t are now considered out of network because we got a new insurance plan at work. The messed up thing is that the old pdoc and t I was seeing are in network, but I refuse to go back to them and with all my issues I don't want to switch because I really like my current team.

I understand not wanting to change treatment teams. I've just had to change due to an insurance. I'm glad that you have a choice to stay with the ones you trust.

I'm glad you called your treatment team. And even if you have to go back to the hospital it will help you get back on your feet.

Do whatever is best for you.

I could have switched doctors in order to stay 'in network' and pay lower out of pockets costs, but I'm going to suck it up and pay the higher prices if needed in order to stick with my current treatment team. Working in the healthcare industry myself, I know what a hassle it can be to have to switch doctors.

Thoughts are with you.

Is there a small activity you could do? Do you have any hobbies? Even posting here might enable you to get it out.
