Are you saying you don't believe it? You might want to do some research into the hypomanic symptoms of type 2, as opposed to the full blown mania of type 1. As you go over the indicators be honest with yourself.

Most doctors won't toss out a label to quickly and that is a good thing.

Hypos are typically a great time , but ends in a flaming mess that often lands a person in a depressive episode.

I am BP 1 .... I have all the nonsense and I seldom have the fantastic stuff , just dysphoric ugly messes and my crash and burn is just hell on earth.

My Pdoc believes a person needs to be in at least a 2 week episode to call it. He's not a pill Nazi so I'm grateful.
