Hey all,

I take Latuda, Trokendi XR (extended release topomax), Trintellix, Remeron, and Klonopin. Trokendi XR is what my pdoc uses for my mood stabilizer. Lately, I'm agitated, irritable, depressed 3 days, up 4 days, can't fall asleep until the early hours of the morning and I'm biting someone's head off one minute and just fine the next. It's impossible to know what to expect from me. My anxiety is clawing it's way through the barrier I've put up and is just about to break free with terrible consequences. I can feel the build up and get flashes of it. Like I said, I can be so low and depressed and feel worthless and then feel like I want tear the house apart and rearrange everything while singing along to my favorite music playing in the background. I am all over the place.

I have taken lithium in the past, so been there, done that. I had tremors and kept going toxic on it. I've tried Lamictal, it didn't seem to do anything. I've been on Seroquel. Things didn't work out. Neither did Abilify. I don't want a new AP. I don't think that's it.

I need a new mood stabilizer. Something. Trokendi, I think just isn't doing it anymore. What's your experiences? What's a good one?

Trileptal worked well for mania for me, not so much for depression. Of course, only emsam has ever worked for depression for me.
