Relax ladies not talking about sex.

A friend of mine diagnosed me right on the ball that my missing mma and probably some gym time is due to performance anxiety. I'm a veteran at both, but I have tons of fears, thoughts, anxiety I guess when it is time to go,that I chicken out. Anybody dealthrough this? Any recommendations? Talked briefly about this to t, but had other issues that took precedent. Maybe this week I'll focus on this topic.

Before I had blood clots in my lungs, I was in judo. Sometimes, I'd get a weird fear of being thrown even though taking a fall was second nature. It even caused me to miss practice.

I've missed practice for almost a year lol. It would benefit me greatly since it isa great workout and I'd be able to squeeze sweat out of my shirt. Good for weight loss. Another reason to go,but I chickenout.

I hear ya! I was in such good shape when I regularly went to judo. Then I got sick and went on depakote at the same time. That meant lots of weight gain. I can't do contact sports on blood thinners so no more judo.

In my younger days I hit the gym 4 times a week and also trained in tae kwon do.
My anxiety made it tough to go because I hated doing it in front of so many people.
I always wished I could work out in private but I made it through some how.
I wish I had the answer for you but everyone is different.
I think for me I would just get so sick of not going that somehow I would make
myself go though sometimes I don't know how I got through the anxiety.
