I am not taking a high dose(300 mg twice). Instead of taking it in the morning and evening, I would gradually switch to late after noon and evening and maybe eventually take it all at once. My pdoc does not seem to be concerned about it but I know lithium is tricky.

I take 750mg of Lithium a day, 500mg am and 250mg pm. At times I take higher doses but still spit it as directed by my pdoc. I think Lithium stays in the bloodstream for about 12 hours so splitting it seems logical but there was a time that I took all my 750mg in the am and I noticed no difference in effectiveness. If your pdoc thinks taking it all at once is fine I can't see a problem there. Is it working for you?

No, I am taking the fast release, standard Lithium Carbonate. All the best.

I take 900 mg all at once, at night. Don't see why it would matter.

Lithium is new to me. I'm now on 300 am and 600 pm. My pdoc said I'm just now entering therapeutic range. I'm currently in a depressive spell and hope this will pull me out of it.
