I had a SA Jan. 14 and went ip. I am a massage therapist but let my license go for a few years. Now i'm ready to try again so I reapplied for my license and after 8 long months finally got it yesterday.

I have a natural talent for massage. I'm not bragging. It truly is a gift. The problem is, I cut my left wrist all up with a razor blade and it is awful looking. It is red striped. It is not healed. It will always be scarred.

I use my wrists in the massage, my forearms. I am embarrassed. How can I exemplify beautiful, serene, healing massage with a slit up wrist? What if the client sees it?
Thanks for this!

Off topic sort of went to my massage therapist twice for a continuous shoulder problem (calcific tendinitis) and she has made it feel good for a couple weeks.

Just thought of the obvious. The client will have their eyes closed and laying on stomach for most of the massage. When I turn them over I could put a nice lavender scented eye pillow over their eyes. Solution! Yah!!!
Thanks for this!

Hey I get massages all the time and I never look at her arms I'm too chilled out lol. If your too self-conscious about your arms what about get a tattoo where the scars are? Doesn't need to be anything fancy or big.
