Last time I felt that way I nearly fainted. I had to sit down and grab the bed really fast. Be careful what you wish for!

I know that craving well as I have a history of marijuana addiction, plus taken many other drugs...then there is the euphoria of mania. Many times I long for a high and it is usually when I am in an episode of some sort. If you are in an episode, or not in one and cannot drink very moderately, I would recommend against drinking. It only tends to make things worse. Saying that, I am a bit of a hypocrite as I tend to have a few beers every night but know I would be better off without them.
