I went into a deep depression about 3 weeks ago. That's been really tough.

Then I started having chest pain like 2 weeks ago. Thought is was just these spasms I was diagnosed with like 6 months ago. A form of gerd. But they seemed to get worse and the more I read about heart attacks the more worried I got. I also am on 2 medications that when taken together can cause heart problems. My psych nurse is always telling me to get an ekg. So after a week of chest pains I went to the hospital. They did lots of testing. Heart is ok. I was diagnosed with chest wall pain.

Then get back from the hospital then like 3 days later get horrible diarrhea. Sorry for the tmi. Felt so sick. Threw up once. That lasted like 6 days. No appetite, barely eating. No energy.

Finally feeling better. Son is on a really low dose of zyprexa and still smoking pot. He's 21. Hasn't had any psychosis so...

Hope I stay out of that horrible depression. Now I have to go get groceries tomorrow.
Hugs from:

I hope that you start feeling better soon. That sounds awful.

Thank you. I actually just took a bath/shower and even shaved! I'm feeling much better.

What a run you have had. It must be so stressful. So glad your son has not had psychosis but it must be frustrating that he is smoking still. At least he is taking some Zyprexa, hopefully that will keep things in check. Great news that you are starting to feel better, it must be such a relief. I really hope things keep improving for you and your son.

Personal experience: antipsychotics have not prevented marijuana psychosis in my case.
