I really need a hug i feel horrible i have been crying all morning and it is so hard to move everything is so much effort i am trying so hard because i am supposed to start DBT tomorrow and i have a T appointment but i am finding it hard to make it even 5mins without seriously having to stop myself from trying something. it took me 4 hours to get out of bed this morning and i am supposed to be somewhere today but i dont know if i can stop crying long enough to actually go. Everything hurts so deeply. i feel hopeless.

((((Flutterby11))))

You can do it, even though you don't want to. Getting help from DBT will help. I took it twice.
Thanks for this!

simple things are difficult because you are depressed with very low motivation. Also, because of your severe depression, simple things appear cognitively difficult, so if you break them down into components, you might actually accomplish something. How about brushing your teeth as a step towards getting out of the house?

I had Risperdal-caused depression last year and could not buy a cell phone for many months because it seemed too difficult to me.

If you feel that way I'm once again going to repeat: Hospital. I'm not just saying that; I've been there and the hospital helped immensely. Every time I've gone in fact (5 times). when you can't function at all you need help beyond what the internet can provide.

I did CBT and it really helped. DBT has a lot of the same principles. I hope it helps turn things around! Hugs
