I can't seem to find my way back up, I know there have been swings, I've felt the mania and the rage and all that, but I keep sinking, over and over, and life isn't helping. So much is wrong. And suicide keeps looming overhead.....Ive started to listen to it. I know, rationally this mood will pass, but will wild out of control, mania be any better? Plus my life is so screwed right now, depression seems to be an pretty decent and appropiate response.

I'm so sorry you feel this way. I'm sure our problems are very different but I can surely relate. (((Hugs)))

To answer your questions.....the sun will come out tomorrow and only you can determine the point. One persons problem is another persons point and the other way around. When you are feeling better, write down what you live for and then when you aren't able to see the bright side, you might get a little hope from your list. I purchased a book awhile back called "Reasons to live" and saved it for when I was In crisis. It should have been titled "reasons to die" which was disappointing but also something I should have predicted. We each have our own unique reasons to live and what is on our list is personal, just as it should be. When depressed however, it's very hard to relate to that which usually tethers us to this earth. I wish I had suggestions on how to combat that but all I can say is keep reaching out for help. (((Hugs)))

Hang in there, things will get brighter. Are you in treatment with a therapist and/or psychiatrist? It sounds like you need some extra support at the moment. Keep posting. We are here for you.
