I just got a shower after working out. My first time back to the gym in years. I was frumping around in bed and my mom's husband called to meet him at the gym as we'd planned. There was a hiccup in payment because of routing numbers or something but we got it done. (I had to rejoin.). I did the treadmill for a mile and several exercise machines. So far from where I want to be but slowly but surely, right? I got a shower after and now I feel great! Tomorrow, I can do the treadmill again but I need earphones to watch the TV's. Boring without!

Day 2: worked out on the treadmill. Got earphones so I could hear the TV's. Got a shower after. At Starbucks having a sugar-free latte.

Good ideas and plans. I'm sure I will feel great, after I get over this 2+ week flu or bronchitis, or whatever it is...I'll be back to all the things I usually do! Yoga, back and neck exercises, playing my musical instruments, singing, visiting people -- nobody can visit me now!!!! They sure don't want to catch this yukky bug.

Hi Moose72

That is a wonderful accomplishment. Yes, slowly but surely, you will be able to accomplish anything!

Today I went back. Did the treadmill. Then part way through the machines- when I was just sitting down to a new one- I felt faint. I stopped myself from fainting thank goodness, but that wasn't welcome!

Exercise works wonders on the mood. So glad you are feeling great. I really hope the feeling remains. Bit of a worry you nearly fainted though. Were you over-doing it perhaps? How is your health now. You were sick recently if I remember right?

Yes I had a nasty cold with fever. Fever gone. Mild cough left that the Dr says will linger. I was just sitting down at another machine hen I felt faint. So I'm not sure. Maybe a minute before?
