What to do? Pdoc won't prescribe any anti anxiety meds.

I use my coping skills. Paced breathing, distractions exercise etc

That really sucks, can you call and let them know evertime your anxiety is out of control, maybe then they realize the need? Sorry your struggling today...hugs

My only suggestion would be to buy some Taurine and try it out. I've found the effects to be relaxing, almost like a mild benzo.
Sorry you're having anxiety with no med to resort to taking. Best of luck if you try seeing another doc.

They just up my Rexulti when I'm anxious but I'm on the max dose now so doubling it might not be a great idea.

I left a message with PDocs nurse. I dunno what she'll say. And now my youngest is bugging me to go to the pinball arcade. I don't want to go again.

As Hallie said .....coping skills are needed ! regardless if a person has a prn or not.
Pills can ONLY do so much. People without MI have stress anxiety etc and most arent feeding Big Pharma and putting chemicals in there bodies all the time. PC isn't always about pills, it's a place to be open minded and learn how to manage Bipolar. But hey just my opinion ~

I just talked to a friend about med changes and the clinic I go to. Very interesting. He's a psychologist but only sometimes works there.
I'd like to just go to sleep now. Terrible day for steps. Hungry for dinner but not much to eat. Gotta go to the grocery store.

I think my Rexulti causes a lot of anxiety. I went up to 2.0 and about jumped out of my skin. It lifted my depression so I am afraid to go off of it, but my anxiety is taking over. I'm really a mess. I have Klonopin prn but taking more is not a good answer for me.

Right now I'm downtown hanging out with my other son before church choir rehearsal. Haven't been in a few weeks. Will be good.

I had a dream last night that I was in a pharmacy and sitting sideways in a chair in the waiting area on the phone waiting to talk to a man about my anxiety. What do you think that means?
In real life, I'm worried about the way my 19 yo drives. It's too fast!!
