Has anyone else noticed the signatures on other boards?

I frequent the psychotherapy board, and the only signatures I see are an occasional quote and then mostly NO signatures! It's so different from our board that I feel self-conscious about my own. But everyone here on the bipolar board has a signature with at least diagnosis and meds.

Have you noticed on other boards here on PsychCentral, do they have signatures? Is it just the psychotherapy one that doesn't because it's not diagnosis specific?

I like it...I thik it is easier to know if someone agrees to meds or not. It also helps to see where they are....

I don't have one. Only quotes recently diagnose with bipolar 1, the psyciatrist suggest Lithium. But waiting to seek another opinion. More deppress than manic but doing well lately. This make me pending on the appoinment to see psyciatrist and taking the med.

I never noticed this, so just went to random threads in random forums and you're right! And it's not just psychotherapy. Who knew?! We have a proliferation in comparison.

Clearly we've got extra flair. Lol.

(I'm a huge fan of customization, so it'd be pointless to resist. )

I sometimes lurk in the PTSD board and having a sig w/dx and rx is rare over there.

I feel like "Who would actually care about me?" I had more in my signature once, but deleted it.

I think it's interesting. I'd rather have the information out there instead of typing it every time there is a question.

I like the signatures on our board because it helps me feel like I relate better. I feel less alone in my mental health struggle when I see similar meds or similar diagnoses. It helps me, which I guess is why I have my own signature. I feel more unified here on this board.

But then I go to the psychotherapy board and no one has a signature. It's hard for me to remember everyone's backstories. I can relate to some of what people say, but with a little more information I feel like I'd understand them and what they're saying better.

We rock here!

I never really thought about it but that is interesting. I have my meds listed in my profile page but didn't really think to put them in my sig.

I like sigs, whether it's quotes, pictures, or med info.
