We talked about my moods how I was handling this diagnosis, how medication was working and one thing I mentioned to him was when I found how I was bipolar going back looking through my journal I've kept for almost five years and reading it now looking through this bipolar lens and I was shocked that it was basically in front of me. But like he said I was upset because I've been wrongly diagnosed for almost ten years I'm 28 now and that some people find out much later so I'm grateful for that. The one thing I wanted to ask any BP II folks on here is when they before they were diagnosed did you ever find yourself having more manic symptoms? From what I've read it seems mania is not very common with BP II. I would have this manic episodes usually following depressed states.
Thank you I hope you all have a great day!

I've had both manic and depressive symptoms, but I'm BP1 because of psychosis.
