I'm new to the forum and just wanted to say hello and how glad I am to have found this place. I searched all over the internet for some place for support for people with bipolar disorder and found the psych central bipolar forums. I looked around and it seems you all are a very great group. I don't have many friends and my family, especially my husband's family does not understand anything about having to live with bipolar disorder. I'm bipolar 1, diagnosed about 10 years ago and it's been a series of up and down years with hospitalizations in there and only within the past few years have I have found some kind of med combo that seems to have calmed things down. Anyway, I'm here, Hello! I'm happy to meet others who can relate. I hope to be able to offer some words of kindness or support that might help someone at some point in time, too.
