It's so weird. When I'm hypo, I'm always "up" but the degrees vary. Sometimes just slightly up, sometimes all out hypo. These last few weeks I am up and down all day long.

Hope it isn't just me?

I have varying degrees of hypomania. BP II. Some episodes are more "hypo" than others and last longer. Some are mild while others border on "mania."

I experience comparatively sparse periods of hypomania. I most often deal with severe depression. My medical conditions likely add to the depression (chronic pain, autoimmune conditions).

When I'm in an episode I will generally be very hypo in the am and wind down as the day progresses. If I am in medicated I will go full blown manic though which isn't fun.

I am mostly up and have varying levels of energy though out the day.
I am finding it really hard to do a mood chart.

Lately I've been trending up a little, though I wouldn't really call it hypomania yet. I do have varying degrees of mania, from what I call "pre-hypomania" to full-blown manic episodes. The improving weather and getting out in the yard to do a bit of gardening have kicked me into a higher gear, that's for sure.

I totally have degrees of hypo. Right now I am about a 2 out of five(then comes mania). I can increase and decrease on the scale throughout the day. It is weird but I'm used to it. As long as I'm not heading into mania I'm all good. Though I did give my Mum my credit card as I knew I would impulsively spend online ( I am IP right now)

Problem is that I crash into mixed and SI quite quickly. I hate that.

Mine range from a couple days to several months. Some are more euphoric and some are down right irritable. Sometimes I sleep fine, other times on a few hours a night. I really find that my episodes are somewhat different in nature each time. Definitely some are more "up" than others.

Same with depression. Always different and ranging from a couple days to a few years.

I have periods of feeling good which I realise are more significant than merely being happy. Hypomania for me seems to have a drive to it. Often though I don't realise this has been so until after the fact in hindsight.

For me there is a marked difference between hypomania and all out mania. When I am hypomanic I do not engage in risky behavior, nor do I have delusions of grandeur. But what I do experience is the need for activity and thirst to charge my life with fun.

I rarely have hypomania but when I do it varies a lot. Sometimes I'm in great spirits and talk a lot (daughter tells me I'm too high energy) and sometimes I'm just so irritated it makes me want to claw my skin off. I experience mainly severe depression and wish (this is just me) I had a few more high spirited, high energy days.

God, how I would love to be mild hypo. I just seem to feel depressed more and more as I get older. Once in a while, I'll spend a little too much online or get ambitious and decide to tackle a house project. But basically, I feel like crap.
