I was diagnosed adhd in middle school and diagnosed with major depression in high school. I had a psychiatrist say that I was bipolar 2 because I get irritable and angry and kind of silly. I also have a tendency to talk really fast. But even when I feel this way, I still sleep 8-10 hours. I was just inpatient and total med changes. The psychiatrist said I am not bipolar, but sometimes I wonder? I do have hyper manicky times, but I always sleep good. Can you have hypomania and still sleep through the night?

I can't diagnose you; only a psychiatrist can do that. What I can say is that doctors tend to disagree with one another when it comes to hypomania, so I'm not surprised to see you've had different opinions. What matters is that your meds are working for you. If they aren't, perhaps seek another opinion.
