Lately sleep has been trumping most of my activities. Well when I feel sleepy. I have canceled/missed a few pt appointments and dentist cause I was sleepy and wanted to sleep more.

Are you taking naps during the day? Napping midday can mess with the sleep-wake cycle, and you might end up exacerbating the tiredness by doing that.

There may be other things to your sleepiness, too. The nap thing just stood out in my mind since I've had similar sleep issues when I've napped

Not really napping. Maybe. I dunno. I think it may be residual depression habit I had from summer.

I am sorry you are struggling.

I have to take a stimulant to stay up/awake/alert when in a severe depression. I do not know what I would do without a stimulant.

Are you practicing good sleep hygiene? I agree napping is a bad idea if you’re not sleeping at night (to a point, if that’s the only way you can get enough sleep to acid mania sometimes you have to but sounds like napping is not the issue).

I just read a book called Why We Sleep by the lead of the UC Berkeley sleep lab. All about circadian rhythms, different categories of REM and non REM sleep and their importance, etc. really interesting read.

Will it at least make you smile to know I read the title of your post as "how to not let Trump sleep"? I thought that would take some interesting efforts

Seriously, I understand. Since Clozaril sleep is the most important factor in planning my days. I can't safely drive until 10 AM at the earliest, 11 AM at best. I do things on the days I'm less sleepy and am starting to force myself to exercise on days I am still tired. It's really hard to want nothing but sleep yet know you must be functional and I'm sure that is more true for you since you work.
