If someone came s weak, we say "stay strong". Seems they miss the point, don't they. You can't stay something you've lost, anymore than you can Flu without wings.

Your words made me think. There is something about "stay strong" that makes me feel that I need build a fake wall around how I really feel. It's like we are supposed to falsely appear that we don't need anyone's help and have to look like we have it under control.

Maybe instead of "stay strong", it is more helpful to say "keep trying...I'm here for you".

Sometimes being strong is getting the help we so desperately need. Sometimes we need to do this really quick

Feel the fear in my enemy's eyes
Listen as the crowd would sing
Now the old king is dead! Long live the king!
One minute I held the key
Next the walls were closed on me
And I discovered that my castles stand
Upon pillars of salt and pillars of sand
Thanks for this!

Some of the things that we lose are possible to regain. It takes time, but it can happen.
I'm regaining certain things I lost. Like a clear skin. Balance. Confidence. Laughter.
I wish I would lose some. Like weight. Maybe if I keep trying. It has happened before.
Keep the faith. You know you have a lot to live for.
Remember that these are cycles. It will go away. Even if it feels impossible now. It will go away. Be safe, we need you.

I think "Stay strong" is a less deprecating way of saying "Be strong". "Be strong" means you're not strong at all. "Stay strong" means you already have a degree of strength and to keep it up.
Thanks for this!
