I don't do this on purpose, but I've missed several doses. Depression hit and I just kept missing. Sleeping and staying in bed. Now I have to get myself back on track. I know my husband is disappointed, he'll I am. I hate that I need meds to stay stable, even with the meds I struggle!!

It's ok hopeless2015, stuff like this happens. It is similar to dieting, just because you had a bad day or week or whatever, does not mean that you cannot get back on the wagon. Can you set an alarm on your phone? Moose uses pill boxes, maybe it would make it easier for you to remember if you took your meds with the visual that, yes Tuesday's meds are still in the box so I have not taken it? I have been meaning to purchase a pill box because I often cannot remember IF I took my meds are not.

Sorry you have been so low.
You have had a lot on your plate.
You've had such a hard time with bronchitis/pneumonia.

Lots of self-compassion is needed.
You deserve it.

I use an AM PM. Pill container and fill it every Sunday. Never miss a dose that way. Plus i take a ton of vitamins so really need that container.

I've been in the same boat lately. Keep forgetting my trileptal in the morning. Even once I remember, I don't care enough to get up and take it. Yay depression.

I do the same, also with an AM/PM pill box. I take a few supplements as well, so the box is much more convenient than opening six different bottles each morning and evening. I also carry a small pillbox on my keychain with my noon meds in it. There are a few times when I forget those, but it's not a huge deal when I do. One of them I can take anytime, and the other if it's too late in the day when I remember, I just do without. No biggie. But the AM/PM box is a necessity. If you're going to buy a pill box, don't skimp on the cheapest one you can find. You'll be going to that thing multiple times a day, and cheap pill boxes can be frustrating.

Don't beat yourself up - everyone misses. I cannot recall a time in the last year or so where I didn't miss a few times.

I do like the idea of an AM/PM pillbox. I think it would help create a consistent routine for me (filling it up every Sunday for example).

The sad part is i have a pill box, I keep on the ottoman in the living room and have barely left my bed though. I'll get it refilled today. I managed to get a shower and my son is off and had to drop his car off for a recall so I actually got out of the house. Meds took this morning. Just get upset with myself when I miss several doses, it effects me. Usually happens when I'm down and don't need to be missing. Thanks for all your replies!!

Maybe put the pill box somewhere else that you can see it? My husband puts his in the master bath next to a Britta pitcher. I have too many meds for a pillbox so I have to do it the hard way. I keep alarms on my phone to remind me to take them.

Hopefully you'll get back on track and feel better soon.

I have an app on my phone to remind me because as you have experienced, it's easy to forget. That thing will keep going off until you put that you took them. Super convenient. And personally, once you keep up the routine over the years it becomes second nature to take them. Please be gentle with yourself, you've been going through a lot both emotionally and phsyically. I'm sure you're doing the best you can.

Thanks you guys. I'm a mess right now. I'm ready for this to pass. I was starting to feel a little better yesterday but didn't sleep last night and I'm back in a hole and anxiety is out the roof. I have my sleep pattern all out of whack and that's never a good thing for me. My Latuda usually knocks me out at night but didn't last night...i don't know why. I got both doses of meds taken yesterday and just took my morning dose for today. 3 hours late but I took it.

I understand. I missed my meds for 3 days in a row by accident. I could feel the changes in me and was starting to go manic. I hate that.

I also use a pill box to keep my days straight and a morning/bed time routine. I always take my pills with my morning coffee and always take my pills when I first get into bed to sleep. Doing it the same every day helps now.
