Does anyone have it, or think they might have it? I recently learned that you can have symptoms of PMDD up to 2 weeks before the start of your period, and that they can last a few days into your period. That only leaves about a week of symptom-free days per month. It seems like the only way to rule out whether a depressive episode is hormone-based is if it starts during or a few days after your period...

My depression worsens and I become very suicidal approx 3 days before.
I had learned, many years ago, to just ignore the suicidal thoughts which accompany PMS, as they would pass in a few days.

Yes I was diagnosed with this. But now that I'm on meds it's significantly improved. Now I have just more pms symptoms after my period starts. It's weird. But I'm on invega so that might be why.
