Does anyone else have balance issues/coordination problems? They seem to have gotten worse lately. I am almost tripping over my own feet or falling into walls. I already have hand tremors so this on top of that really sucks.

About an hour after taking my Seroquel a couple nights ago I almost fell over and had to grab a wall for support. Other than that I'm decent. My reflexes suck, though.

I knock into walls and furniture all the time. I must lean on things if I am standing still. I have not been able to kayak because balance has become a problem. It could be meds. But this could be physiological. For instance, this is a symptom of Diabetes. Get checked out by your physician.

I am on lithium, Lamictal, Doxepin, propranolol, Focalin, and Klonopin as a prn. I also feel uncoordinated with my hands but am not sure if that is related to the hand tremors.

I just went to my pcp at the recommendation of my pdoc. She did bloodwork and the only thing it showed was I am a little anemic so she has me taking iron. She also referred me to a neurologist so maybe I will get some answers there but I don't go until the end of May.

I was having balance problems and yoga helped me immensely. Seriously, it did.
I still have hand tremors though.

Ugh, yes. Meds cause my balance to be slightly off. It's not pleasant.

I have general coordination problems. Sometimes when I'm eating a meal I will miss my mouth completely and drop food into my lap or on my shirt. It's really bad if I try eating in the car - anything other than a cheeseburger. I have found myself to be tripping more frequently.

My balance is terrible. I stagger around sometimes as if I'm drunk, and I've had a couple of bad falls in the last few months. I think it's the Lamictal; I'm on a large dose and I noticed more problems when I went to 400 mg. The doc warned me that this probably would happen, and he was right. I have to lean against things when I'm standing still for any length of time, I grab onto the pew in front of me in church when getting up because I get dizzy and off-kilter. It's a pain in the @$$. But it's worth it if the Lamictal does its job, which it does.

I was on Lamictal until last month. I also take 900 Lithium. My balance has gotten better.
